I found your forum while looking for a copycat Fatz Cafe Calabash Chicken recipe and started reading the other posts. I had to join once I went into the Cooking for 2 forum and read how people were only spending around $100 a month on food. My wife and I average $100 a week and hope to learn how to reduce that. I hope to have my wife join shortly.
Well, I'm off to browse the forums and soak in some of the collected knowledge on this site. Just wanted to say hi!

Welcome from Texas, there's actually a few North Carolinian people on this site.
There's actually a grocery guide on here that REALLY helps me out when trying to find what's on sale and what's not the best deal. :3 good luck to you~
Welcome to the site, I know what you mean about spending too much on groceries. Hubby and I are learning to cut way back. Don't think we'll ever get to $100 a month but have already made some signifigant reductions. Hope you and your wife enjoy the site and the savings.
welcome Welcome welcome!! There is a lot of info on here, and helpful friendly people.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. We hope to use this site to cut our costs so we can pay off our credit card debt faster. Now is not a good time to be carrying too much debt. We are learning that no time is a good time to carry debt.
And an extra "hey y'all" to the North Carolinian's on here!
