Hello, from Alabama
I have been on here for a week or so now but I just wanted to say "hi" to every one. I am big into forums.... I have joined one for babies/kids, chickens, cats, dogs, fish.... just about everything I do. I love them, I found that they are just about the best source of info.
Well just a little about me, I am married and have one little girl whos 9 months old on Sunday (11/16/08) he name is Rylee and I'm Amanda and my husband is Dan.... although you guys will see/hear from him much he works full time and I'm a stay at home mom (  )
We live in Alabama.... we just moved here just over a year ago from Cobb co. GA. I really miss GA but I grew up in AL and some family is here so its not that bad. I would love to meet some new people even more so if they where in my area (so to say) as of now we only family and 2 other couples.
We also have tons of animals, 2 dogs, a thousand cats (not really but it feels like it), a snake, tons of fish.... thats one of our big habbies.... so if you need help with your tank, I'm the person to ask... and of course my chickens. DH doesnt like them to much but he loves their eggs.
Well guess that was long enough, it will be nice meeting some of you guys!

Amanda welcome to the site. I am not in AL, but doesn't mean can't still be friends  . This is a great site, with some very friendly people. You will not only find great bargains here but also some great friends. Look forward to you sharing information soon.

First question: How do you PM: At the top of your page where it says "Welcome, then your user name" is a link Private Messages. Click on that at it will go to your profile and let you send a message to someone on the site.
Second question: the bookmarks are to add the post to those sites if you are a member or just like those sites.

Thanks I would have never learned how to PM, I'm glad you told me..... and as far as the other one, I dont know what half of them are so.... I guess thats not for me. Maybe I should look into them though.
