Hello there, I am planning a wedding shower for my sister and intend
on making it a bathroom/kitchen theme. Any suggestions on games or
party favors that are inexpensive?
thanks

The Following User Says Thank You to BiggerPiggyBank For This Useful Post:
For Party Favors I would send out a request each attendee to send you their
recipes for their favorite meal.(Appetizer, meat, sides+desserts) Then I would
compile them for the Bride. I personally like to use a photo album to store my
recipes so that I have them in a flat book to look at while I am in the kitchen.
(But they are covered in case I spill something!)Since it is for your sister you
could even put together a month of menus including shopping list. I gave this as
a gift and the bride still thanks me! There are several sites that let you imput
the recipes them print a shopping list.
For favors you could go to the Dollar store and get place mats, or dishcloths,
or little gadgets like scissors, pizza cutter, paring knife etc. Or you could
put together a cleaning basket with cleaners, sponges, mop, gloves.
Good luck!

There's a party game which would fit well with your theme....each group is given
a roll or two, or four, of toilet paper, the plain white stuff. Each one is
given a chance to 'make' a wedding dress, one member of each group is chosen as
the 'bride'. The real bride would then judge the creations to see who's was
best. The group members would then get a prize...I'm sure you can find
inexpensive candles for favors....
Good luck!

---One game that I always think is fun is to take the letters of their married
name and see what children's names you can come up with with the letters.
Like Jake and Jane Jones. Joe would be one name possible. Usu you get
some really funny ones. Whoever thinks up the most wins.

I just got married and my shower theme was all about
me. It was so funny. People had to guess answers
about me in the form of questions like "jeopardy".
One example, answer: "Hamlet, Henry, Sylvia".
QUestion: what are the names of Denise's cats. lol
