Not sure if this is the answer or not, but some time back this feature was changed. The system will only allow you to THANKS the 1st original post, not everyones comments. I also think when the system was changed that OLDER posts the THANKS was disabled.
If this does not help, write a Help Ticket (upper left side corner, Request Help) and one of the Mods will get back to you.
