How Can I Earn Points?

Giving Reputation- if you click on the Reputation button to give someone an increase or decrease in reputation, you will earn points. Use the "decrease" wisely! If you find a post Credible - Rep Them!

Having New Friends- Members earn points for each friend that is added to their Friends list

Blog Posts- Members that post in their blogs will earn points

Album Pictures- Points are added for pictures uploaded in a member's own profile album (Family Friendly Only- pictures must not contain Nudity, foul language, etc). A note about Albums- these are only available to Members with a level 2+ Registration

Referrals- for every friend you refer to the board (they must list Your Username in the Referral Field upon Registration) you will earn beaucoup points (that's ALOT).

New Threads- posting a New Thread earns you more points

Sticky Threads- If your thread is so wonderful that the Mod's "Stick" it for others to enjoy, you will get extra Points!

Tags- adding Appropriate Tags to your threads earns more points

Thanking People- Yes, it's true, when you Thank Someone else for taking the time to share a deal, idea, recipe, etc- you actually earn points for it.

Getting Thanked- When someone thanks you for your post, you get Points!

Viewing Others Threads- Bet you Never thought you'd earn points just for reading Tips on budgeting, Freebies, Coupons and Hot deals?!! Well, now you do, and each thread you view gets you a little closer to shopping for free stuff.

Visitor Messages- Members earn points for every comment placed on their profile (particularly in the blogs)

Voting On Threads- Not only does your thread vote help others decide whether the post is a good one or not, you also earn points for sharing your opinion.



A Few Questions We anticipate you asking:

1. Do I get points for replying to my own thread?

Alas No, but you do get points for responding to others' threads and posts.

2. What Can I get for Free Stuff?

Visit the Shop to Redeem your Points or view what's available.

3. How can I view my own points, ranking, etc.?



On the top right of your screen is your username (once you've logged in!), click on that and it will take you to your Profile. Click on the Pink Experience Tab and your information will show





4. How Can I view Others Experience Points?

To view other members Experience points, ranking or awards, simply click on "Experience" located on the top navbar no matter which page your on.

OR Simply click on their name in any Thread Topic

5. What if I violate the forum rules and receive an infraction, will I lose any points?

Yes, you lose 25 points per Infraction Point. Which means, if you receive an infraction with a point value of 4- you would lose 100 points. Not to worry though, infractions are rarely given out. Read more about them here

Hi JoAnn, click on the Members name that (on any post by that user) and it will take you to their userpage, on the right hand side of that page are 3 columns, Mini Statistics, Friends and Recent Visitors. In the friends box is a link that says,"Befriend username" . Click on that link and you can add as many friends as you like. In your own profile (User CP) located top left hand side of every page, you can change your own settings so people can automatically befriend you or you can choose to whether or not to approve friend requests.
