Default Hello from San Diego, CA!
Hi everyone, my name is Christine and I am so glad I found this board! Since both my husband and I have been laid off from the same company (8 months apart) I have been looking for more frugal ways of living and I have had such great suggestions and coupons from this site, I just wanted to thank everyone for posting. I do look forward to posting my own ideas for frugal living soon as soon as I learn how to so that.

I have always been a bit frugal but for me it's more like a game "Let's see how much I can save today" attitude. I love going to the grocery store and having them ring up the items, THEN hand over the card and coupons. I have had a good day when I have saved at least 50%.For thanksgiving this year I spent less than $25 on $250 worth of dinner for eight people. I love a bargain-I hunt like a tiger searching for its prey.

Hope to chat with you all later. Right now, I'm on the prowl. GRRRR.
