Default Danish Apple Pudding

Danish Apple Pudding
1 1/3 cups zwieback (14 slices) finely crushed
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar packed
1 tsp cinnamon
16 oz can applesauce
1/2 cup chilled whipping cream
Combine zwieback crumbs with melted butter, sugar and cinnamon. Spoon
applesauce into crock pot. Top with crumb mixture. Cover pot and cook on low for 3 to 4 hrs. Serve warm or chilled. Whip cream; spoon onto pudding.

easy and cheap! our two favorite adjecktives! LOL! this is the kind of recipe that you can dump in the crockpot when you start dinner and by the time you've finished eating and cleaning up, it's ready! nice and hot...good for those cool nights

I have a hard time finding zwieback-could you substitute graham cracker crumbs??
This sounds so yummy, I am thinking of trying it this week.
