    Default crockpot meals

Fixing crockpot meals from scratch is soooooo easy I don't understand
why anyone would buy a prepared one. I have several recipes that are as
simple to me as buying and opening a package. Lulu

    1 lb stew meat
    1/2 lb baby carrots
new red potatoes tiny unpeeled or cut in 4th if larger
    1 can tomato soup
    1 can French onion soup
Put veggies in crockpot, meat on top of veggies, soup on top of meat.
(you do have to wash the potatoes). Cover Cook on high for 3-4
hours--low 6-7. No need to brown meat. Can add other spices.

This sounds good....I think I'll try it with frozen baby potatoes.

I love my crockpot. The downfall is that it requires planning, which is wh folks might opt for carry-out instead of crockpot. I love to use mine on Sundays for lunch! Who wants to come home from church and cook right away, when you can have hot lunch waiting on you? Everyone is always starving when we get home from church so the crockpot is a wonderful thing. Here is another favorite of mine:

    Crockpot Pumpkin Pudding:

    15 oz. Canned Solid Pumpkin
1 12 oz. Can Fat Free Evaporated Milk (or MYO from dry milk)
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 Tablespoons margarine, melted
    1 Cup sugar
    1/2 Cup biscuit mix
2 1/2 teaspoons Pumpkin Pie seasonings
    2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
Cool Whip or ice cream for topping if desired

In a greased crock, combine the pumpkin, milk, eggs, margarine, sugar, biscuit mix, pumpkin pie seasonings, and vanilla. cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours. Serve with cool whip or ice cream.
