Printing Issues- Bricks & Smartsource

If you have been experiencing issues printing Bricks coupons, try this:

Visit Our Coupon Printing Help Page for step by step troubleshooting directions.

If you are still Unable to Print the coupons located in our forums, visit: http://www.budget101.com/coupons.htm (register, if need be) and see if you can print any of the coupons there.

If you can print those, but not the ones you find individually in the forums, please respond to this message with the following information:

1. Which Browser & Version are you using (ex. IE 7.0, FF 2.0, etc)
2. What type of Internet connection do you have? (Broadband, Dial-Up, DSL)
3. What company is the Internet Connection with? (Roadrunner, Hughesnet, Centurytel, etc).
4. What is your printer that you are trying to print with?

I am finding that I am unable to print coupons via my broadband connection & receiving an error msg about my printer settings, yet when I connect via dial-up the connection works fine and the very same printer works without any issue at all.

Currently, we format ALL New Bricks Coupons posted in the Coupons Galore Forums so that our members can simply click on the link for their preferred browser.

I would love to be able to pass on any information/usage stats to the techs at coupons.com so they can fix the bricks errors.

Use Apple Safari Browser and print only 1 page at a time.


**From Smartsource regarding inability to print their coupons:

We're sorry to hear you're having difficulty activating our new Coupon Printer. If the yellow Information Bar does not appear or you do not see the button below there are a few possible factors that could be blocking this from functioning.


1. You do not have administrative rights to download Active X or other programs on your computer. Likewise, a firewall could also prevent you from downloading anything. This is often the case if you are on a corporate network or are using a public computer like at an internet cafe or library. You will need to speak to your system administrator, or try using a home or personal computer instead.


2. Your browser?s settings are not configured to allow downloads like ours. To check and change that, go to ?Options? under the ?Tools? tab of your browser?s menu and:

Set your security level to Medium
Enable ActiveX controls and plug-ins
Add http://coupons.smartsource.com and http://www.smartsource.com to your list of Trusted Sites.
Some users report that the problem cleared up when they switched to a different browser. If you?re using Internet Explorer, try Firefox instead; you can download it for free from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox.

3. Virus or Spyware Protection software may be mistaking our download as malicious. Rest assured it is not. Whereas Spyware is downloaded without the user?s knowledge and covertly tracks the users internet activity, our Coupon Printer does not track your activity and can only be downloaded with your explicit permission. The Coupon Printer is powered by SmartSource, a News America Marketing company, which is part of News Corporation. What to do:

Get the latest update for your anti-virus software. Symantec, McAfee, and Trend Micro recognize our product as safe and secure in their most recent versions.
Refer to the Help menu of your respective anti-spyware program
