13 year old, money and food

Well things have been interesting with my 13 year old having his money to spend anyway he chooses. I know that a teen boy will eat non stop most days but he thought he could get away with spending an extra $11.00 on fun things at school-like ice cream, extra pizza and hot dogs. I have told him that I would buy the school lunch plus one extra milk each...

Another Teenager in the house

Well it is official we have another teenager in the house! My Alexander is 13 today. So exciting yet so scary. He is very excited. Tonight he gets to invite one friend to go swimming with the rest of us and out to dinner tomorrow night.

Along with becoming a teen officially we have also set some new rules for him. His list of chores...

Final Laundry results

The results are in on the science fair project testing the laundry detergents.

None of the brands were able to remove the oil stain after allowing it to set for 40 hours and 30 minutes, with only one washing.

None of the brands were able to remove the oil stain after two washings.

None completely removed...

Laundry results using ERA brand

With the science fair project of testing if a laundry detergent can get out oil I have an update on the ERA brand. Sorry folks it did not work!

On the samples of t-shirt material he added 1/4teaspoon of vegetable cooking oil, circled the spot, let it sit for 1 hour. Added six cups of warm water and 1/2 teaspoon of detergent. Aggitated...
