Kite flying

Today my boys and I made kites. We used those plastic store bags from Wal-Mart. I tied some yarn to the handles and we went outside. my six year old just loved the fact that he could fly a kite as high as his 12 year old brother without any help. We got the idea to make these from trying to catch bags that are packed too heavy and break at the car. When the wind catches them they take off and you can never seem to catch them until the land beside a fence. The bags might not be quite as colorful as a kite you can buy at the store but what a great way to recycle and get healthy and have a lot of fun all at the same time.
