update on RSVP

What an interesting turn out on the RSVP for a child's birthday party.
We received five calls confirming several days ago. Then yesterday afternoon another call. Last night another call. This morning one call saying someone had pinkeye and wouldn't be able to come (one of the original responders). Then this morning at around 9:00 a call that another would be coming. Then at 11:00 that another would be coming.
My goodness three hours before the party is suppose to start you call????????? How on earth am I suppose to plan for that. I tried to play it safe and planned enough items for around 20 but if everyone comes, we are in so much trouble. Just glad I planned for 20 and that the cake is enough for everyone.
Well time to start getting dressed, it is a costume party, halloween and birthday combined. Party starts at 2:00, I am doing the wicked witch, already have the wild frizzed out green colored hair and going to paint the face neck and arms green with makeup. I love it. I like to tell the kids that I finally get to be my true self for Halloween and that every year I turn this way but the rest of the year I look normal and I am nice, I have scared so many kids over the years.

Oh what fun! If you're like me by the time the party is about to start you might feel like the wicked witch and wishing you could cast a few spells! Hope you all had a wonderful time!
