The canner in me.... Taking this on is a new thing... I am looking forward to sharing my struggles and triumphs as I learn a new skill.

Good evening...

I am so proud of myself... I did 18 more jars of food.

I did 6 quarts of Pineapple
7 quarts of fresh green beans
and 5 of fresh beets.

Ok, So I bought the Ball Blue book of Preserving and got a water bath canner.

I realized for the things I wanted to can, I needed a pressure canner, so I bought one on Saturday.

I have been sitting here looking at it.... almost scared to start. I REALLY REALLY want to... but what if I mess it up?
