Magic Layers

Remember the Jello product that when mixed in one bowl and chilled, seperated into 3 distinct layers? Pretty in a glass parfait glass or glass bowl..can't buy the stuff anymore.. You can make your own...kids...of all ages love it!
3/4 cup boiling water
1 (3 ounce) box gelatin, any flavor
1/2 cup cold water
ice cubes
1/2 cup non-dairy whipped topping
Pour boiling water into medium bowl. Add Jello, beat at low speed with electric mixer till well mixed. Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 1 1/4 cups. Add to gelatin and stir until ice is partially melted.
Then add whipped topping; Blend at high speed for 30 seconds. Pour into dessert glasses. Chill Dessert layers as it chills.
Garnish with additional whipped topping.

We make this all the time, it's really yummy if you make it and pour it into a graham cracker crust. (I sometimes add chopped strawberries & use a strawberry flavored gelatin. Another really yummy one is peaches and add 1/2 cup chopped peach.

That does sound yummy.Will try this soon as I get to buy the ingredients that I need for it .
