Magic Layers

Remember the Jello product that when mixed in one bowl and chilled, seperated into 3 distinct layers? Pretty in a glass parfait glass or glass bowl..can't buy the stuff anymore.. You can make your own...kids...of all ages love it!

3/4 cup boiling water
1 (3 ounce) box gelatin, any flavor
1/2 cup cold water

My Easy Chili

Cooler weather calls for warm stuff

2.5 -3 lbs. of Ground Beef
1 large Onion, roughly chopped
3 ribs Celery sliced Thinly
1 medium Green Bell Pepper, cubed
2 15 - 16 oz cans Stewed Tomatoes
1 15 - 16 oz can Diced Tomatoes
1 15 - 16 oz can Chili Beans
1 15 -16 oz can Dark Red Kidney...

When ONLY chocolate will do

At times, NOTHING satisfies but chocolate...and plenty of it! Try this for those days...

Fluffy Chocolate Truffle Pie

1 prepared chocolate cookie crumb crust or pre-baked pastry crust
12 ounces bittersweet or semi-sweet chocolate-chopped
1-1/2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar

Super Easy Lemon Pie

Nothing better in a hurry than a no bake pie..put together and chill...

1 pre baked or crumb crust
1 small container lemonade concentrate, thawed
1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 8 oz container Whipped Topping
2 or 4 drops yellow food coloring...optional

Combine the thawed concentrate and condensed...

Can't Do Without Recipes

I have several recipes that are MY favorites, feeling that I can't do without them! Some are simple, quick and easy, some a bit more time consuming but one thing they all have in common - they're good, inexpensive for the most part, and requested by friends and family.

Thought I would post some of them here a bit at a time for you...
