so, today is a really close friend's b-day. she turned 25. she called me monday crying about it. all she kept saying was that how she feels old and how she's single and how she doesn't have anything and how she can't seem to lose those pesky 40 lbs. i always seem to be the one whose level headed but things like that. i told her, be happy you are healthy and be thankful you have those 40 lbs. it means you have food in your belly at night. be happy you are single and not in a loveless and abusive relationship. be happy you get to see 25. and she said that she never looked at it that way.. she only saw 30 being 5 years away.. honestly, i can't wait to be 30! heck, i can't wait to be 80!!! i know i complain but honestly i'm happy with my life. i have family that care and my wonderful hubbie and no more drama from certain people. why is 25 such a big deal?

Its funny how people will freak out about being a certain age, when you're little you want to be old and when you're old you want to be young. It seems like you've got a good view on life.

i just don't get it. granted i wish i was still a little kid because then i wouldn't have to worry about bills, cooking, cleaning, life.. all i would have to worry about is if i'm going to be able to watch my favorite show on tv after school.

Turning 25 was not that big for me. When I turned 30 things started to fall in place, finally figured out who I was and that I was very luck to even make it to see my 20 birthday let alone all the others. I turn 40 this year and can say that life just keeps getting better. Age is a state of mind, yep you get the aches and pains with all the things you have done over the years, but so much depends on the state of mind you are in. I wouldn't go back to 25 if you paid me

I'll be 61 in a couple of weeks and still don't know what I want to be when I grow up!!! Wouldn't go back and do any of it again. I like the age I am now.
