Twitter

Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent messages. People write short updates, often called "tweets" of 140 characters or fewer. These messages are posted to your profile or your blog, sent to your followers, and are search able on Twitter search. I find it kind on fun posting one liners...When you create an account, you can search for people by name or user name, import friends from other networks, or invite friends via email. Once you've found your friends, follow them to start getting their updates.

Liss has made it really easy on the site to stay connected with your Twitter Status also.

Wonder how many here use "Twitter" or "Facebook" ?

I use both, but I'm really not the best to follow since I'm pretty down most of the time

JoAnn, I don't use twitter or facebook. I do use Myspace though to keep in touch with family and friends scattered all over.

Well gee I was wondering what a twitter was! I rarely have time for here so sure don't get into these other things! Most days I only have 10 to 15 minutes online so really running to do what I need to do. Hoping things calm down here soon but not holding my breathe on it any time soon!

And if you want to Tweet here are the easy steps to start, ref: post from Liss /FAQ.

Twitter Updates

How to Show your Twitter Updates on your Profile Page:

Want your peeps to see your tweets? We're Twitter-friendly.

To make your Twitter Updates show in

1 Then go to: User Control Panel (also known as the User CP) ">

2. Click on: EDIT DETAILS

3. Scroll Down to the Bottom and you will see a window where you can type in your twitter username.

4. Then click on SAVE.

If you haven't yet completed the fields in your profile, this is an opportune time to do so, each field is worth extra experience points. Please note, this option will only show for active members.
