A wonderful gesture....

Have you ever have a friend pop in at just the right time unexpectedly. I did today! Just after the kids went to school a friend popped in and invited me out to breakfast. Her and her 4 year old son were going out to eat so she stopped by to see if i wanted to go..... I can't remember the last time I went out to a restaraunt for breakfast. It was so fun. We spent the next couple of hours doing a little shopping. my daughter turns 8 in a week or so. I got her a really cute couple of outfits. It was nice having a girls day out. When came home I felt all energized and was able to get a ton of housework done before picking the kids up from school. What a great day!

Oh what fun! Always nice to have an occasional day out to get away from it all. Perks you up and lets us get back to work with more get up and go! We all need those occasional days off!

What a great suprise that must have been for you. I have a very close friend that moved away 3 yrs. ago. We used to do things like that, I sure miss her. It's always nice to have a friend stop by.
