Lazy days of summer are gone

I'm so excited football season has started. No more laying around the house with no rhyme or reason to the day. Don't get me wrong. I love being lazy, but it was starting to get to me. Well, Football practice for both of the boys started last night. We were out the door by 2:30 for freshmen full contact camp and at 5:30 for the younger one's conditioning camp. We didn't get home till 8:30. The kids jumped in the pool to cool off then in the spa to soak sore muscles. I set dinner in the crock pot before practice so we had a nice london broil & potatoes when we came home. I feel like there's a purpose to my day now. I only have so much time before we are out the door and dinner's got to be ready when we get home. Laundry & housework needs to get done in a timely mannor instead of when no one has any socks. 2 of my kids start school next monday so now we are also getting ready for that. The kids aren't so happy but I'm extatic that my summer boredom has been busted!
