The Sunday school class today worked on filling shoe boxes today with all kinds of goodies for the Samaritans purse. Found the site on here actually and the kids mentioned it to the pastor. He thought the idea was great and decided that the church should participate. It really brings a good feeling to know that you are helping others who are unable to get the chance at a good Christmas. Isnt the reason for the season Christ and giving??

Amen to that! What a wonderful ministry Samaritans purse is. Great idea for the kids in Sunday school.

That's so fun for the kids and a great way to share the spirit of giving. I'm so glad you guys got to do it! We've brought boxes to my son's school but it's more fun to do as a group.
