This is my first venture into the cyber world. I know my girls will tease me when they discover I have posted on a blog.

I am looking for healthy receipies, especially ones using vegetables like cabbage, eggplant, squash - what I consider real, not canned peas, corn, or beans, which is all I have really used. I have caught a few of Emril's shows on Planet Green and Mom's Cooking and feel hopeful I can learn new ways. I discovered I was diabetic in December and veggies are my weakness, I have done well otherwise.

I am also trying to focus on the good in my life and not feel down about things. If you have any happy stories or tidbits to share I'd love to hear from you. Until then, take care and thanks for reading my post!
